Simple Green Cleaner Review

Simple Green Cleaners are produced by Sunshine Makers which simply has to be the most inspired name for a Simple Green Cleaner.  Sunshine Makers produce environmentally friendly cleaning products.  But, their priority is safety first for those people actually using the products, rather than the planet.

Simple Green Cleaning Products originated from the desire to stop making industrial strength cleaners hazardous for those using them, or for the earth when disposed of.  But, because Sunshine Makers were in the business of supplying industry with cleaning supplies to deal with greasy machinery, the power of the product really could not be neglected in any way.

Simple Green Cleaning Products offer that same industrial strength cleaning ability as they started with.  But, because they are used in the workplace, they are tested far more in relation to their affect on those using them than any conventional household cleaners.  Workplace regulations are far tougher than anything concerning the average housewife cleaning her home (or househusband).

So Simple Green Cleaners are tough, in fact industrial strength tough and they are safer to use than conventional products.  But are they Environmentally Friendly or Green?  Well yes and no.  It all depends on how green you want them to be really.

Simple Green products are all readily biodegradable, so no problem there, and they come in highly concentrated formulations.  Less packaging and transportation costs is always a good thing.  But, these are not organic or All Natural Cleaners.  They are still primarily detergent based tough cookies that will clean up just about anything, without causing you harm or being tough to dispose of.

But if you prefer your Eco Friendly Cleaning to be more gentle you will need to seek out the Simple Green Naturals range.  They use fewer ‘harmful’ resources as everything is naturally derived.  But, that means more expense for you, and whilst good, they really do not have the same degree of supportive customer reviews as the Simple Green Cleaner (industrial strength) range.  But if you are not a janitor or someone trying to get greasy machinery spotless you should find the All Natural Simple Green products fine for everyday cleaning.

Green Cleaning Products will always involve some compromise.  Well, unless you make your own organic soap and use that plus a lot of elbow grease for everything anyway.  The key is to use what you can that is less harmful to your, your family and your environment that your old alternatives.  Even if there are things more green, you need to be as green as practical only for you.

Maybe just keep a little industrial strength Simple Green Cleaner in reserve for those really tough jobs and use the Simple Green All Naturals for those easier tasks.

Simple Green contains butyl cellosolve…… THAT is not green, simple or safe. They
have done a great job of fooling the public for many years….. what a joke!

I think the problem is we expect too much from them. Simple Green set out to make safer to use, less polluting and less toxic cleaning products to use in industry. We have taken that to mean they are eco friendly when in fact they are simply less eco nasty. But any improvement is better than none, particularly when used within industry as they were intended.
