How Do You Get Higher In Google?
It’s all about the backlinks baby!
But is it? Over recent months as my earnings online have been increasing I have been playing around with the number of backlinks I have been obtaining and a few interesting things came up. At the start of my Internet career I made sites and would be hell bent on obtaining as many links as possible to increase my rankings in the search engines.
Much of that time was wasted. In many instances, especially with new site, less is definitely more. What I have discovered is that submitting an article that I wrote to article directories was often a waste of time. The fact is that much of what you submit will never count as a backlink.
Why?
Because the exact same content has already been indexed on other article directories. You will never get content that has been published elsewhere to count everywhere that you submit it. Much of the time you are wasting submitting the same content to multiple directories is wasted.
You are much better submitting an article to a few sites and then writing more articles to submit. Better yet, and what we do here at the best article directory is to write original content and submit it to one place only. There is a much higher chance of your backlinks then actually being counted as the page is much more likely to be placed in googles index.
Rather than getting multiple backlinks (or trying to) from the same content, write original content and really work that content.
By this I mean that you are much better off, especially when sites are still relatively young, to write original content and give that content backlinks.
I know, where does this all end? Well, if you can give backlinks to your original articles that you submit then they will gain some page rank. A few backlinks that have some actual authority in the eyes of search engines will go a lot further to increasing your rankings and see you making more money for you endeavours.
Older sites can be given much more in the way of low quality links and see sharp rises in the SERPS but this will not happen for new sites so get some quality links rather than bombarding your site with low quality article submissions that will most likely never even be counted.
